Chris will be working with doctors at a medical clinic in Mayan village.

Janet Kim

Location: Mexico
Agency: Nursing Program
Trip Dates: May 13 - June 13

Ministry Description:
The first half of the trip will be spent visiting hospitals while the second half is for independent study; this will involve writing a paper on HIV. Janet will be living with an assigned family and is limited to communicating entirely in Spanish. Aftewards, she will be staying with a missionary who works as a nurse in Mexio. Her weekends are free, so she may be involved with other ministry opportunities then as well.

Joanne Kong

Location: Spain
Agency: Pastoral and Laity Missions
Trip Dates: July 18 - Aug 1

Ministry Description:
Joanne will be participating in some street evangalism and church ministry with a team of 16 members led by Rick Carey, the director of HOPE Bible Mission. However, the bulk of the ministry will be done through personal evangelism as she teaches English at a youth camp for students ages 14 to 18.

Sung Park

Location: Costa Rica
Agency: Church/Family Groups
Trip Dates: Aug 21 - Sept 2

Ministry Description:
Sung and his family will be involved in local Sunday School and Vacation Bible School as well as in outreach to the natives while distributing Bibles. They will support the local church with needed supplies (church, medical, etc.).

Chi Truong

Location: North Philly
Agency: Summer Medical Institute
Trip Dates: June 18 - July 28

Ministry Description:
Under the mentorship of Christian medical professionals, Chi will be partnering with other Christian medical students from around the US to offer a variety of services: health screenings, immunizations, seminars, and small group bible study. They will be involved in door-to-door witnessing as they minister to the people's spiritual and physical needs.
