Cynthia Hsu

Location: Taiwan

Ministry Description:
Cynthia is going with her home church to help various churches in Taiwan with Vacation Bible School, repairs, and also with evangelism and outreach. Please pray for her safety in the midst of the social and political conditions and for traveling mercies.

Daniel Kim and Jimmy Lieu

Location: East Asia
Agency: Campus Crusade for Christ
Trip Dates: May 15 - June 21

Ministry Description:
Dan and Jimmy are going with a team from Penn State to share the Good News with students in East Asia. Please pray for them as this is a new opportunity overseas.

Esther Kim

Location: South Korea
Agency: GEM (Global Education Mission)
Trip Dates: July 17 - August 10

Ministry Description:
Esther will be participating in a summer program where students will learn English through studying the Bible. During the evenings, teachers can interact with students in less formal settings. Please pray that God would bless the relationships Esther builds with her students.

Haam Baak Shin

Location: Myanmar / Thailand
Agency: Covenant Fellowship Church
Trip Dates: June 11 - July 20

Ministry Description:
Haam Baak will be traveling with 7 other brothers and sisters to work closely with faculty and students at the Myanmar Center for Theologcial Studies (MCTS). While there, they will encourage students through Bible studies and helping with the construction of a new addition. In Thailand, the team will work with a local church in Bangkok as English tutors and witness through friendship evangelism at Ram Song University, one of the largest public universities in Thailand. They will also be involved in daily children's ministry.

Jeremy Teppig

Location: Harlingen, Texas / Matamoros, Mexico
Agency: SMI (The Summer Medical Institute)
Trip Dates: June 24 - July 28

Ministry Description:
Under the guidance of trained physicians, Jeremy will use his medical knowledge to serve the people of Harlingen and Matamoros. At the same time, he will learn to integrate Biblical principles and healthcare. Please pray that God would give Jeremy a compassionate heart for his patients and that God would use this service to share Jesus' love.

Jessica Chao

Location: South Africa
Agency: Rainbows of Hope WEC Intl
Trip Dates: June 15 - August 9

Ministry Description:
Jessica will be working with children in crisis - whether afflicted by war, poevery, HIV/AIDS, street-life, or sexual exploitation - promising them hope in Jesus - our Emmanuel. Please pray for her - for wisdom in these relationships and in handling these fragile patients; for physical and mental strength; and for His love.

Swannee Park

Location: Tuncas, Mexico
Agency: The First Korean United Methodist Church
Trip Dates: June 12 - June 19

Ministry Description:
Swannee will be a helper in leading a team of eight 7th - 11th graders to oversee Vacation Bible School for approximately 500 children around Tuncas. In the afternoons she will be accompanying doctors from her church on medical missions. During the evenings she will be participating in daily revival meetings through skits and body worship. Please pray for their team as many are young members; also, please pray that Swannee would have a patient heart.

Ministry Description:
Pastor Young will be involved in pastoral and church conferences. He will be traveling with a group of other pastors including Pastor Min Chung (CFC), Pastor Paul Kim (Emmanuel), Pastor Sung Kim (HMCC), Dr. Steve Lee (Faith), and Pastor Peter Oh (CFC).
