KENYA MISSIONS 2002

This is the first year that GCC is joining with Harvest Mission Community Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan to send a summer mission team to Kenya, Africa. For the first 2-3 weeks, they will be teaching in elementary schools in Lai Lai in Maasai Land. For the rest of our trip, the team will be participating in VBS and crusades in the northern parts of Kenya.

Prayer Requests:

PERSONAL SPIRITUAL GROWTH: For brokenness, humility, and dependency upon God in daily intimacy and encounter.

UNITY & PARTNERSHIP: For encouragement and growing partnership with team members, missionaries, and local pastors.

SPIRITUAL EMPOWERMENT: For empowerment in prayer and ministry.

CHRIST-LIKE LOVE: For humble and servant attitudes in ministry and lifestyle; a deeper burden for the lost, and a growing heart for missions.

HEALTH AND SAFETY: For physical protection, good health, and safe travel.

FUNDRAISING: For raising $3,000 to cover the cost of travel, food, shelter, and equipment.
